Several untitled window murals were part of the exhibition But what was most awful was a girl who was singing at Transmission Gallery in Glasgow. One was the title of the show sprayed in rubber across the front window of the gallery. On the Parnie Street window there was a drawing of a rose, crossed out, and there was also a tall block of sprayed lines which hid the Transmission office from view.

These murals accompanied the sculptural work Carmen after James Bidgood and Jean Genet (2016) and the printed and pasted text work A reunion (2016), which were hidden from street view by a yellow wall, and Chantal after James Bidgood and Jean Genet (2016), a video work screened in the gallery's basement.
